Luck will cross your way. Eating fortune biscuits with friends in a Chinese restaurant. You secretly rejoice and wait for your prophecy to come true, with a thousand euro note in your hand, stunningly beautiful and coincidentally single. All the while, waiting for luck, you forget that you've been tripping over it all along, like a pile of shoes in the doorway.
The exhibition LUCK WILL CROSS YOUR WAY shows scenes and phenomena of communal everyday life. Surfaces from the daily environment become a mirror for social and political questions. In addition to photographs from the projects "sharing figures", "Youth" and "Let's not talk about the weather," individual portraits, architectural and daily still lifes are shown. After "Index", the temporary archive exhibition in Kassel (2018), the exhibition at Kultur- und KulturWerkHaus Zigarre Heilbronn is the first to give an overview of my work in the city of my childhood and youth.

Glück wird deinen Weg kreuzen. Mit Freunden im China Restaurant Glückskekse gegessen. Du freust dich heimlich und wartest, dass deine Prophezeiung endlich kommt, mit einem Tausend Euro Schein in der Hand, umwerfend schön und zufälligerweise Single. Dabei vergisst du vor lauter Warten auf Glück, dass du schon die ganze Zeit darüber stolperst, wie über einen Haufen Schuhe im Hauseingang.

Die Ausstellung LUCK WILL CROSS YOUR WAY zeigt Szenen und Phänomene die vom alltäglichen Zusammenleben erzählen. Oberflächen aus der täglichen Umgebung werden zu Projektionsflächen für gesellschaftliche und politische Fragestellungen. Neben Fotografien aus den Projekten "sharing figures", "Youth" und "Let's not talk about the weather," sind einzelne Portraitaufnahmen, Architektur- und Alltagsstilleben zu sehen. Nach "Index", der temporären Archiv-Ausstellung in Kassel (2018), gibt die Ausstellung im Kultur- und KulturWerkHaus Zigarre Heilbronn erstmals einen Schaffens-Überblick in der Stadt meiner Kindheit und Jugend.
